His main activity is to promote Cuban hardcore and metal music, and to make it a major player and ambassador on the international scene as well as in Cuba itself.

« Not salsa, just brutal music: Cuba’s hardest » is Brutal Beatdown Records first production. Recorded and mixed in Havana in March to Dicember 2007, this disc marks the first step of the Cuban underground scene on the world stage. We have try to make this sample as representative as possible of today’s Cuban metal scene and for many of us, something more, a bridge. In an insular field where very few hands and ears seek out extreme music and where the more traditional and tropical types of music such as salsa and reggaeton are predominant and preferred, the voice of the Cuban underground is an unrecognised creativity which has remained until today stifled by an almost systematic wall of indifference. The best means of passing through this wall is to go around it; this disc is therefore a bridge towards an independent musical scene. Thanks to all who spread this message as loudly and as far as possible.

« Not salsa, just brutal music: Cuba’s Hardest » es la primera producción de Brutal Beatdown Records. Grabado en La Habana de marzo a diciembre 2007, este disco marca el primer paso del underground cubano en la escena mundial. Es una ilustración que hemos tratado de restituir la mas representativa posible de la escena cubana actual y por muchos de nosotros, un grito mas, un puente. En un campo insular donde muy pocas manos y pocos oídos atienden las músicas dichas “extremas” y donde los géneros musicales mas tradicionales y tropicales como la salsa y el reggaeton son predominantes y privilegiados, el grito del underground cubano es una creación desconocida y hasta ahora tapada por un muro de indiferencia casi sistemática. La mejor forma de atravesar ese muro es de contornarlo: este disco es un puente dirigido hacia la escena independiente.
De ante mano, gracias a todos de divulgar ese grito lo mas lejos y alto posible.
